Explore time travel, program operations v2, cleaner data | What's New in Texture

This week's updates are all about trustworthy data and a smoother platform experience... with a hint of time travel.

As ever, you can follow along in real time at Release Notes | Texture Docs.

Explore: rewind the grid and see it under load

Explore now lets grid operators and engineers step back in time to explore the grid or even a particular meter at a specific date and time. Pick a past instance from the timeline and every grid-element, meter-cohort, and device will re-anchor to that moment. When you're viewing history, a clear "viewing time" indicator keeps you oriented. This helps grid operators understand "what was happening on the grid then?" vs "what does the grid look like right now?"

Live voltage insights across the distribution grid

A new voltage overlay colors the grid by voltage allowing grid engineers to see power-flow conditions across the distribution network at a glance and spot where the grid is under stress.

This is a grid and utility operator feature available to SCADA/grid customers. → Reach out to your implementation team to activate SCADA data.

Program Operations v2: A more powerful way to run your programs

Program Operations v2 brings the next generation of program management to the platform with richer automation, deeper reporting, and flexible form customization, so program teams can configure, run, and analyze their programs with more control and less manual work.

Automatic duplicate contact detection and merge

Texture now surfaces likely-duplicate contacts automatically, and a guided merge flow combines them into a single clean record. No more manual hunting for near-matches!

For developers: EV / Tesla key-pairing API that check vehicle pairing status programmatically

A new API command lets you check the key-pairing status of a connected Tesla or EV device before you send it commands, so you can confirm a vehicle is properly paired and ready, and handle unpaired devices gracefully in your own workflows.

If you have questions about a specific integration or want to connect an asset type not yet on the platform, reach out to the Texture Implementation Team or contact us here.
